Selena Gomez was photographed on two red carpets on Friday and Saturday (January 3 and 4) in Palm Springs, California, looking contrasting and confident.
Gomez was in town for the 2025 Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards Gala, where she accepted the Vanguard Award with the cast emilia perez and film director Jacques Audiard.
The singer and actress walked the Palm Springs Film Festival red carpet on Friday night wearing a custom monochrome suit by Ralph Lauren. The pearl white menswear-style ensemble consisted of trousers that covered the shoes, paired with a vest and sheer top worn under an open blazer, finished with a matching tie. Her hair was smoothly pulled into a bun.
Meanwhile, Saturday brunch is hosted by type Gomez looked demure in a pale pink tweed long-sleeved Oscar de la Renta mini dress with a plain neckline and cherry blossom embroidered pockets. The dress is from the designer’s Pre-Fall 2025 collection, paired with light pink heels and soft, center-parted curls.
The brunch was held to honor the publication’s 10 Directors to Watch and Creative Impact Awards. emilia perez Director Odia won the Director’s Creative Impact Award.

Gomez, who is engaged to producer Benny Blanco, wore her marquise-cut diamond engagement ring both days. The couple recently shared sweet photos of themselves spending the holidays together and celebrating the New Year.
