Shawn Mendes, Benson Boone, RAYE, Teddy Swims and Mexican-born sister trio The Warning to headline the 2024 MTV EMAs On the show. The show will be broadcast live from Co-op Live in Manchester, UK on November 10
Four of those artists — Boone, RAYE, Swims and The Warning — are also in the running for a Grammy nomination for best new artist. On March 2, RAYE swept the BRIT Awards.
Additionally, Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale and screen stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jodie Turner-Smith and Lucien Lavisconte will also take the stage as presenters. Ten of the 11 most nominated artists at the 2024 MTV EMAs are women. The only person to break into the rankings is Kendrick Lamar, who was nominated four times.
Taylor Swift received seven nominations, including Best Artist, Best Video, Best Pop Music and Biggest Fan. Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Charli XCX and Sabrina Carpenter each received five nominations. Followed by Ayra Starr, Beyoncé, Lamar, LISA and first-time nominees Chappell Roan and Tay Tyla received four nominations each.
Fans can vote for their favorites on the EMA website from now until November 6 at 00:00 CET.
The 2024 MTV EMAs will air on Sunday 10 November at 9pm GMT on MTV UK, Channel 5 and Pluto TV, and will be available on Paramount+ from 12 November. Will be released later.
