The season finale is slow horse Almost part two of “Being Frank.” River’s father continues to search for new members of his new hit squad. The MI5 Slough House regulars continue to be great this season.
Bringing in the brilliant Tom Brooke as JK was a stroke of genius. The lanky actor, perhaps best known as “Fiore is a Preacher,” delivers a disturbing yet poignant performance. His interaction at the end of the finale was spot on.
the end of everything
Longreach sacrificed everything for the slow horse. Dande almost lost his soul for revenge. After JK banished Patrice from the world, it seemed that Patrice was not invincible.
*JK, there is no facial expression that puts Patrice out of Frank’s employ forever. This could very well be the moment when Kos comes home for good as part of the Sloughhouse team.
The finale ended with David at home and River reconciling with Jackson Lamb. It was a heart-wrenching episode in many ways. The final episode was a perfect change of pace from last week’s Terminator episode.
There is some satisfaction in the fact that the new season may finally see the emergence of a new president.

frank
Frank lost. No real surprises there. Not surprisingly, Flyte’s “go” comeback was “shut up.” She said this as she handcuffed Frank at the train station. Apparently he was heading toward the basement. Another of his descendants, Terminator clone Patrice, manages to evoke some sympathy. Considering the number of dogs he offers, this is no small feat.
david cartwright
The saddest part of the entire season was in the season finale. To protect David Cartwright, he was placed in “Park” House. Not just to save himself, but to save David from further assassination attempts.
David yelled accusingly at his grandson, saying he “promised me, River.” It’s sad and touching. It also shows River switching from his last name to the Slow Horses family.

The Apple TV offering will return next season. This is a fantastic TV show and worth watching. Go watch it now. Five-star entertainment this.
