2024 range of products, small town murder On Fox, it feels like stumbling onto the Hallmark Channel. The first episode looks and sounds like a refugee from the romance capital of America. Granted, this is as much a romance novel as a murder mystery, but it seems out of place in the network of The Grinder . Fox gave us justice too, just saying.

    story

A big city cop comes to a small Canadian town to become police chief. He came to escape a “major” crime. It turns out that murder knows no geographical boundaries. The police officer met the local librarian through a dating app. They share their first murder.

    main actors

Rossif Sutherland is the Albergo Police Chief.

Kristin Kreuk is the Cassandra Lee Gibson Librarian.

Mya Lowe is the newly appointed Corporal Yan. Another big city transplant.

    Aaron Douglas plays Sergeant Sokolowski.

Special guest star aka suspect of the week

    James Cromwell was George Wilcox.

    flag or just canada

small town murder It definitely feels like a Hallmark escape. However, that’s likely just because it’s made in Canada. The first episode is low-key and fun.

The key word here is “low-key.” It’s the characters that are interesting, not the storyline. The actors deliver here. While Sutherland’s pedigree sparkled, he lost out to Cromwell in sincerity. It must be noted, though, that Cromwell is the guest star here.

Taken from the Alberg series written by LR Wright. small town murder Located in Gibson; a seaside town in Canada. The police chief is another detective with expertise. For his part, he is an artist who values ”balance.” or lack thereof.

    will this work

There are many detective police “procedural” shows to choose from. Across the pond we have murder in paradiseperhaps the British Rolls-Royce of murder mysteries. In America we have Longmire. The Cadillac of police detective novels, if you will.

Add to this list, monk, murder she wrote, diagnosing murderet al., you have an almost exhausting list of crime shows. I don’t want to give up on Ms. Wright’s proposal. no Having read her book, I don’t want to judge.

However, as far as mediocre entertainment goes, it works. Not on the same level as Canadian police dramas from the 1980s Night fever With Detective Giambone.

*FYI, the show was filmed in Toronto, instead of New York. But in terms of “feel”, Night Heat is thoroughly Canadian.

    Canada’s paradise beyond

small town murder Can be seen as Canada’s answer to the paradise across the ocean. *Sans personal favorite Chris Marshall.

Sutherland’s uneven dialogue will make or break the play. Crook lights up the screen every time he appears. The emerging romantic aspect will be interesting.

    Judgment

small town murder Earned a rocking 3.5 stars. If it can shake up its iconic feel, this could turn into another beyond heaven. The show aired on Fox and 24 hours later on Hulu. Check it out and see what you think.
