Over the weekend, Soulja Boy went on a heated rant on Twitter (now X), even sneaking a shot at Drake while tweeting about the devastating fires in Los Angeles County.
“It’s time to disappear,” Draco wrote to X.
As Soulja ranted about the evacuation of Los Angeles and the impending TikTok ban in the United States, the 6 God diss seemed to come out of nowhere.
He continued: “If they really delete TikTok, that means America is finished…all of Los Angeles is burned down like it’s nothing…I don’t know who needs to hear this, but the world is evil.
It’s unclear what exactly Soulja Boy thinks about Drake that makes him so angry, but fans speculated in the replies that it could have something to do with his legal action against Universal Music Group over LeBron James’ “Fighting Irish” jam Or something to do with his sensational feud with Kendrick Lamar last year.
Since joining forces for 2014’s “We Made It/Trophies,” Drake and Soulja Boy’s careers have intersected at various points.
Big Draco went viral in 2019 breakfast club In the interview, he claimed that Drake plagiarized him “word for word.”
Soulja Boy later joined to expand Drake’s explosion big boy neighbor. He claims Drizzy stole the first bar of his 2007 song “What’s Hannenin” for his 2010 collaboration “Miss Me” with Lil Wayne.
“You have to understand the timeline. In 2006, I was 16 years old and an underground artist. [Drake] still in degrassi. I literally set fires in the streets,” he said. “He was looking at me and copying me. So when he got the deal and had his first big single, he copied me, but no one knew what he was copying. They thought it was the original De Lake Bar, quote…he stole everything from me.
