2024 movies space cadet It feels like I Love Lucy and Hallmark made a movie where she, Lucy, goes to space. Unlike the old Lucy show, which is particularly G-rated, this one is at least a low PG.
story
Little Rex’s eyes were focused solely on space. She was a good student and could “free ride” to college. However, her mother passed away and she had to take care of her father. After her journey, she became a bartender and alligator wrestler.
A space agency is advertising for astronauts. Something Rex had always dreamed of. She applied.

Dave Foley is Rudolph Bolton. What can we say? I’m Dave Foley. Nuff said.
a grain of salt
The entire plot of this movie is incredible. Never mind that Roberts’ character is too “out there” to be a real astronaut. It does require the viewer to be high, or at least drunk, to find the film entertaining.
space cadet Utilize a plot that truly embodies Hallmark’s signature. A simple plot with an earnest portrayal of unrealistic characters. In other words, every romantic or Christmas story ever aired on the Hallmark Channel.
Old ladies and spinsters may enjoy these types of scenes, but people who don’t fall into these categories will laugh in all the wrong places. They’re likely to complain about the protagonist’s unrealistic predicament.
Teenage dirty bag babe?
Roberts’ character is like a 2024 Florida version of an over-age “teenage dirty bag baby.” But Rex’s life isn’t a bowl of cherries. Her developmental delays were more visual than internal. She knew deep down that she could make a difference if given the chance.
This is the only “real” information the video has to offer. Everything outside of this premise is fantasy. If we treat it that way, there will be some laughs.

Writer-director Liz W. Garcia strikes out this time. She hopes viewers will be able to suspend disbelief for a long time. To be precise, the entire runtime is 1 hour and 50 minutes.
It’s just not sustainable. sorry.

This is a rocking 2 stars out of 5. I adore Emma Roberts and I adore Tom Hopper. However. Even they couldn’t save this ridiculous concept into a movie. Space Cadet is streaming on Prime.
