I think it’s safe to say that Morgan and Karadek finally worked together as a unit on High Potential Season 1 Episode 6.
If there’s one thing this series is good at, it’s keeping the story moving forward without letting anything get stale. Whether it’s the writing, the acting, or a combination of the two, each episode is fresher than the last.
Now that High Potential is halfway through its first season, fans can expect some changes to keep the plot interesting.
From what I gather from the synopsis, disappointing news may be on the horizon for some viewers, but we’ll get to that later.
Now that Morgan and Karadek have developed a healthy partnership, it’s time to cross some boundaries and enter hilarious territory
First, high-potential companies are selling off Morgan’s domestic operations. Each promotion begins with Morgan wearing her “mom hat” in some form.
I’m not angry. If anything, I commend the show for not resorting to a bait and switch. It would have been easy for the writers to shift Morgan’s character away from her family life and focus more on her work.
It’s perfect for the character because her whole body moves a million miles a minute, so her home life keeps her balanced. I wouldn’t mind if the other characters were given the same treatment, though.
In High Potential Season 1 Episode 5, we finally learn a little bit about Adam (yes, I used Karadec’s name) personal life. If you’re like me, you crave more.
Now that Morgan and Karadek have developed a healthy partnership, it’s time to cross some lines and enter hilarious territory. When Morgan drops by Karadek’s date, how interesting is it that the date becomes invested?
Considering Karadek is a tall glass of water, I expect many, many interrupted dates in the future. You know Morgan is just getting started.
Morgan and Ludo are patching things up and things aren’t looking too hot
Sadly, we may be seeing the end of something else soon. For those of you who were hoping Morgan and Ludo (Taran Killam) could work things out, and that includes yourselves, here are some new developments.
The official synopsis for High Potential Season 1, Episode 6 reads: “A wild office party at a high-profile medical technology startup leads to the shocking murder of the founder and CEO, Morgan. and team are working on the case.
“Meanwhile, a new colleague at the precinct catches Morgan’s eye.” We’ll get to part one soon. Now, we need to talk about the last line.
We have a new character coming to the show. This is always fun because it introduces new elements to an established atmosphere.
However, whoever this is, it could be Morgan’s lover. My biggest issue is how attractive the character is, and Morgan’s eyes are only now drawn to it.
She stayed around Karadek and Oz, not even commenting on how handsome the two detectives were. Even Detective Melon isn’t bad to watch.
The trailer contains no information about who this new character is. We also don’t know if this will be a recurring character or just an episode.
Regardless, this doesn’t bode well for the possibility of Ludo and Morgan (Caitlin Olsen) reconciling. Especially when her eyes were wandering around.
Even though you already know that, it’ll be interesting to see how Morgan evaluates the men she’s interested in. She would look at his shoes and know he was in Italy during the winter two years ago or some weird specific thing.
Hopefully, high potentials will be able to deal with these tropes by reversing the way they think.
While we don’t know much about this potential love interest, we at least have some insight into the character in High Potential Season 1 Episode 6.
Derek Richardson plays the very handsome husband of the murder victim and, as you can see in the promo, a suspect in the case.
The actor has been in the entertainment industry for more than two decades. He is known for his roles in The Offer, A Million Little Things and Fear the Walking Dead.
It looks like the industry veteran will be playing the quintessential widower role. It’s hard to say what his character is like, but that’s how he’s been portrayed in the promos.
It was mentioned that the character might have had an affair with his late wife’s assistant. It doesn’t get more cliché than that.
However, the idea that the murder happened during an office party does add some intrigue to the case. Plus, you know Morgan is going to have a lot to cover. The girl may have attended some parties as a child.
High Potential is a wonderful series worth every second of immersion in
The murder of the tech executive means this will be Morgan’s first high-profile case. We get to see how she handles media coverage of the murders—such as Caradek’s speech to Morgan about not talking to the press.
I’ll tell you something we haven’t heard in a while, and that’s Rome. The case hasn’t been brought up since High Potential Season 1, Episode 3.
It looks like Roma’s disappearance will be linked to next season. Which begs the question: Is now really the time to introduce a possible love interest for Morgan?
She’s already leading a balanced co-parenting life with Ludo while investigating her missing ex. Things were going well, so the writers needed to step in and screw everything up.
After all, that’s how watchable television is made. As much as we want Morgan’s life to go as smoothly as possible, this gets old quickly.
The next episode will undoubtedly be filled with office politics and drama as the investigation into the CEO’s death continues. You know Morgan and Karadek are going to find some skeletons in the dead man’s closet.
Whatever the case may be, I will enjoy every second of this amazing series with you and everyone else who loves the show as much as I do.
