Star Bandz uses Veeze to create “Yea Yea (Remix)” video: Watch

Star Bandz are the newest youngsters on the scene.

The teen rapper from Chicago has been doing her own thing for years, but earlier this year she turned some heads with her breakout song “Yea Yea,” which featured her with some clever lines like, “Gotta show them how to run the game, he got caught trying to be a player/black truck like I’m Obama, tell them to vote SB for mayor” and”I barely go out, I’m like the villain in the lair/If I caught her in broad daylight, I’m like Buffy, I’d kill her”. So it’s only natural that she’d hit up bar after bar, doing it with arguably the smartest rapper on Veeze right now.

In the video, directed by Sergio Esparza, the Detroit rapper details the making of CYRUSXO. Bars like, “If I can’t find you, I’m going to beat your brother/I don’t have time to hide and seek” and”We beat them 3-0/Get the broom, it’s time to sweep/Star Bandz like D-Rose/Youngest MVP ever” Proving why he’s been climbing the rap power charts since releasing his critically acclaimed debut album era 2023.

You can watch Star Bandz perform live — her song “Bigger Better Badder” peaked at No. 22 on the TikTok Top 50 — and she opens for Veeze as he embarks on “The Worst Tour Ever,” which was revived arrangement as he was working on his second LP. “The tour has been rescheduled. I’m so, so sorry, guys. Don’t kill me, but I wanted to release the album before touring again. I hope you all understand,” he said on social media in late August.
