Paramount+ has given a look at its upcoming series Star Wars: Starfleet Academy The second season has been renewed in advance. The decision was made before the first season had a premiere date.
The news was shared during a Star Wars: Universe panel at New York Comic Con on Saturday. It was also announced during the panel that Orphan Black and She-Hulk will star Tatiana Maslany will guest star in the first season of the Paramount+ series.
The series will follow the adventures of a new generation of Starfleet cadets as they grow up in one of the most legendary places in the galaxy. The play will introduce viewers to this group of young trainees who come together to pursue a common dream full of hope and optimism.
“Under the close attention and rigorous demands of their mentors, they will discover what it takes to become a Starfleet officer while dealing with burgeoning friendships, explosive rivalries, first loves, and new enemies that threaten the Academy and the Federation itself.”
The cast of the series includes Holly Hunter As the dean and principal of the college, Paul Giamatti Get ready to play the villain of season one.
The cast also includes Kelis Brooks, Bella Shepard, George Hawkins, Sandro Rosta, Karim Dianeand Zoe Steiner.
also, Teague Notaro, picado, Odd Fairand Mary Wiseman Will reprise his previous role StarCraft shown in the series. Gina Asher will appear as a guest star.
The series is produced by United Series Producers Alex Kurtzman and Nogaland Road.
