The show’s writers and creators have been clear that the biggest obstacle to the show’s next season is the busy schedules of its stars, Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman.
Both actors have had very busy careers over the past seven years since the show’s final episode, but many of their commitments have been with Marvel and hobbitdistinction has died.
