Some might say it’s too early because viewers didn’t immediately believe in suits when they first aired in 2011, but while Los Angeles’ suits have copied some of the nuances that gave the original series life, it’s missing key elements , the charismatic dynamic between a arrogant litigant like Harvey Spectre and a witty auxiliary like Mike Ross. The relationship is the glue for the show, and although Mike (Patrick J. Adams) left the show after seven seasons, fans called on him to return for the next two seasons.

The show centers on Stephen Amell, a former New York federal prosecutor, who turned into an entertainment lawyer in Los Angeles and a friend of Harvey Specter.
Ideally, the suit LA should be able to stand on its own, but this feature feels like a forced replica on the suit. Ted’s trait is obviously a parody of Harvey’s vocabulary to his body language. It feels very forced and does not fit the overall atmosphere of the show. Unfortunately, the conversation isn’t like Quippy, the characters don’t have the chemistry radiated by Harvey (Gabriel Macht) and Jessica (Gina Torres), nor does Harvey and Louis (Rick Hoffman).
Suit: Los Angeles Right
One of the defining elements of the original series is the use of music and music scores throughout the plot, some quickly becoming memorable and recognizable, just like funky music, which whenever Hardman appears or sediments become hostile It looks like a dead end. Suit composer Christopher Tyng curated the perfect theme for the show and professionally conveyed the self-evident story and determined the mood of the scene. The suit music composer managed to create a similar atmosphere with Ted Black. Pop culture references, especially sports, are usually done between Harvey and Mike, which is Louis’s annoyance. Of course, without that infamous insert, it wouldn’t be a spin-off – “Damn!”.
What is missing
What hits the right person is that the bet is always high and the risk is always worth it. Los Angeles suits deprived of any appeals in the area. Where are the lawyers who never graduated from any law school? Where is the management partner whose name is on the wall but is not heard? Where are the best friends who threaten to reveal the truth? Until the Season 1 finale, Jessica hasn’t even discovered the truth about Mike. By comparison, it feels like we know almost everything about Ted’s character in 44 minutes. There are many premieres, and fans will not be able to invest due to the ever-changing dynamics.

Climate shows in this TV industry are here today and are gone tomorrow. Streaming services have deprived us of what cables offer – fleshed out characters with interesting backgrounds, we gradually uncover the complexity of their lives through various plot devices, not just conversations and flashbacks. Today, the ancient rebuttal of “show, don’t say” seems to be a thing of the past. However, we had to adjust for today’s performances, which did not automatically guarantee five seasons of competition, so Suits La got it. By understanding a plot character, it’s shocking and unreal. The suit allows for a natural development between Harvey and Mike, the former bringing him to his wings and teaching him more than any of his other lawyers’ colleagues before.
Although we can understand how the suits work overtime, it is also difficult to say for suits.
The jury is not here
If you haven’t seen a suit yet, you may have to stick with it for the time being. At least until you’ve seen suits in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, it would be impossible to keep comparing and looking for suit references, but if you are actually a suit fan and have seen the original collection, Suits La may surprise you. It will require an objective and impartial view to get the most enjoyment, but the premiere has promise potential. Gabriel Macht is the only suit actor reportedly playing a role in the suit.
Suit Los Angeles premieres on Sunday, February 23 at 9 p.m. ET. Are you interested in this spin-off? Will you give it a chance? Let us know in the comments!
