James Gunn Recently shared a first look at Krypto the super dog who will appear in his upcoming DC movie Supermannot everyone is interested in dog designs.
This Krypto design was heavily inspired by Gunn’s own dog Ozu, and some fans already knew the dog character wouldn’t be depicted as a white Labrador.
While Krypto is often depicted in the comics as a Labrador or golden retriever, he has been similar to other dog breeds over the years. There’s also the fact that Krypto is, ultimately, an alien.
gunn responded Faced with criticism, he said: “No. Krypto was historically a common white dog, sometimes a lab, a white shepherd, a husky or a Dalmatian. But apparently, he’s an alien, so he’s not Must be any of these things.
Gunn also confirmed that Krypto cannot speak and can only bark. I personally like Krypto’s design!
