According to data released by ARIA, American pop idol Taylor Swift has dominated the Australian year-end rankings for four consecutive years.

Notably absent from the album and singles charts, however, is the absence of Australian artists. In the latter category, only 5% were local songs, with Vance Joy’s 2013 single “Riptide” ranking at No. 24. DJ and producer Dom Dolla’s “Saving Up” ranks at No. 50. No. 96.
However, there are only three Australian names on the album chart, and only one of them is a studio release.
