Swifties is out in full force on Black Friday.
Loyal Taylor Swift fans flocked to Target’s nearly 2,000 stores nationwide on Friday (November 29), eager to snap up exclusive merchandise.
This year, the retail giant has teamed up with the 34-year-old pop star to launch a range of special merchandise, including exclusive Black Friday releases Ministry of Tormented Poets: An Anthology Vinyl and CD, plus Swift’s official The Eras tour book.
“What a joy it was to shop at Target today! Just Taylor Swift music throughout, tons of books, friendly people. I talked to some lovely Swifties. Black Friday success! One fan commented on X (formerly Twitter) wrote.
Another Swiftie posted on X that at 5:45 a.m. on Black Friday, about 100 fans were already in line at a local Target in Southern California.
Meanwhile, fans in the Midwest braved the cold and waited hours to get their hands on some exclusive merchandise. According to Reuters, a 31-year-old Swift fan said while waiting outside a Target department store in Chicago: “Yes, it’s cold, but we’re here to pick up Taylor Swift’s tour brochure and Her latest LP.
The 35-track album, which includes four bonus acoustic tracks, will be available for the first time on Black Friday on vinyl ($59.99) and CD ($17.99). Shoppers can find it in Target stores starting November 29th, and on Target.com on November 30th.
