Inspired by Shania Twain, LeAnn Rimes, and The Chicks, Taylor began making country music and entered the Top 40 with several hit songs such as “Our Song”, “Should’ve Said No” and “Picture to Burn” , achieved success. Her second album “Fearless” became Taylor’s first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and stayed at No. 1 for 11 consecutive weeks! She had her first top five hit of the era with “You Belong With Me” and “Love Story.” “Fearless” earned Taylor her first Grammy Award for Album of the Year! Her third album, Speak Now, earned her her second number one album. Her fourth album, Red, produced Taylor’s first Hot 100 single “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” showing that Taylor was ready to experiment with her sound. The album became her third consecutive No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and was given a second life with the release of “Taylor’s Version” in 2021, pushing the hit “All Too Well -Taylor’s Version-” to No. One person. But Taylor Swift’s fifth album “1989” changed everything! making her one of the most powerful forces in pop music. 1989 gave us “Style,” “Wildest Dreams” and three No. 1 songs, “Shake It Off,” “Blank Space” and her collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, “Bad Blood.” “1989” was Taylor’s fourth consecutive number one album and stayed at the top of the charts for 11 weeks.
