Apple Music released its year-end charts on Tuesday (December 3), and Taylor Swift capped off a breakout year with another achievement.
The superstar has been named the hottest streaming artist of 2024, and her tortured poets department Winner of Best Streaming Album of the Year. Swift celebrated on her Instagram Stories, writing: “Ahhhhh thank you so much for listening to my music and TTPD!!!! You, the fans, created tortured poets department @applemusic Best streaming album of the year!
She added with a playful, tongue-out emoji, “You guys got me a spot as a top streaming artist too.” Check out her story here before it disappears.
tortured poets departmentEarlier in the day, Swift’s 31-track 11th studio album was certified six times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. The project outperformed all of her past albums on the Billboard 200 chart, spending 15 weeks at the top of the chart. The record was released during Swift’s record-breaking Eras tour.
Kendrick Lamar scores No. 1 on Global Hot Songs of 2024 with “Not Like Us” — as does Swift with “Cruel Summer” in Apple Music’s 2024 replay ” entered the top five of the charts, with the song ranking at No. 5. , “Down Bad” ranked 78th, and “You Need to Calm” ranked 78th.
