Spatial computing—simply put, creating digital 3D models of reality—could revolutionize music in the coming years.

Think of concerts augmented by augmented reality, or composers using virtual spaces to experiment with new sounds.

According to California-based tech startup smellThe missing link that makes spatial computing a consumer reality is the ability to instantly access content via streaming media.

To this end, the company has developed technology that it says “enables complete and instant delivery of dynamic, high-fidelity spatial content without downloading.”

“Our technology platform enables other companies to deliver interactive spatial content to their users and audiences. We are building the critical infrastructure that enables spatial computing to scale rapidly.

Investors are now pouring money into the company’s technology.

Miris announced on Thursday (August 29) that it had raised funds $26 million in by IAG Capital Partnersan investment firm that specializes in investing in early-stage national technology companies—one of its investments is a music financing platform Break bread.

According to Crunchbase data, IAG Capital has 42 investments in early-stage technology companies, including Zwis3D content delivery solution developer, streaming video advertising platform Urand ad software developers mobile network.

“The world’s largest technology and entertainment companies are spending billions of dollars to grow the spatial computing market,” Miris co-founder and CEO malinplugg said in a statement.

“Miris offers the only complete solution that removes delivery bottlenecks for spatial content and allows spatial streaming to consumers without sacrificing quality or experience.”

“We believe spatial computing will not be widely adopted unless high-fidelity, interactive spatial content can be streamed to consumers for easy consumption.”

    Joel Whitley, Partner, IAG Capital

The technology developed by Miris is said to be the world’s first Content Delivery Network (CDN) for spatial content, with the result that consumers will be able to insert AR or VR content without having to download it in advance or require large amounts of data.

The company said its management team has “decades” of experience in entertainment and technology, with executives who have contributed to dozens of Hollywood movies and video games and come from large enterprise technology companies.

“Successful Netflix, Tik Tok, Spotify and Youtube It has been shown that streaming is the preferred way to consume content. Joel WhitleyPartner at IAG Capital Partners.

“We believe spatial computing will not be widely adopted unless high-fidelity, interactive spatial content can be streamed to consumers for easy consumption.”

He added that Miris “solves this critical problem by delivering an elegant solution for large-scale spatial content. This will enable the ‘pull’ for spatial content and devices that the market has been waiting for.” Miris is the key to unlocking spatial computing.global music business
