This will be the first Berlinale under the new directorship of former London Film Festival president Trica Tuttle, who succeeds Berlinale co-directors Carlo Chatrian and Mariëtte Rissenbeek. In London, Tuttle is known for his close ties with American studios, which has helped bring many star-studded premieres to the British capital. Berlin was a bit starved for celebrities during the Chatrian/Liesenbeck era, and one hopes Tuttle and her team can up the star quotient for the 75th Berlinale.
