Venom: The Last Dance Featuring the live-action debut of Knull, the King in Black and God of the Symbiote. The character, played by Andy Serkis, has plans for the future after the events of the film.
Concept artist Karl Lindberg recently shared some alternate designs for Knull, explaining: “Worked directly with writer/director Kelly Marcel to design this creepy villain. Love how he looks in the movie.”
I must say, the version of the character in this concept art is scarier than the one in the movie.
Writer-director Kelly Marcel previously said of how Noel was brought to life in the film: “So Noel was actually the first character we designed for the movie.
“Before the Poison Horse… Xenophage and Knull were the first two [characters] As far as design goes, this is already in the work phase. We knew we had to get Knull right.
“He’s a fan favorite. We wanted his appearance to be as close to the comics as possible.
As for Serkis casting the role, she said: “We knew Andy Serkis was going to play Knull in ‘Venom.’ He was our director on ‘Venom; Tom and I always worked on ‘Venom.’ Knull on Venom 2. He was our director on Venom 2; Tom and I were always talking about the future of Venom 3 on Venom 2, and we knew we wanted to introduce Knull in the way that we had, and at the same time, Watching director Andy Serkis every day, [we’re saying] ‘Well, he’s the greatest.
