After Link becomes trapped in a mysterious rift called the Silent World, Princess Zelda must venture into Hyrule with the Three Sticks and her fairy companion Terry to find and rescue him and save the kingdom.
During our play we discovered echo of wisdom is a throwback to old Zelda games, e.g. links to the past and Link’s Awakeningrather than the open world design of a new game, e.g. breath of the wild and tears of kingdom.
It features new mechanics for copying objects to help you along the journey – there’s a slight learning curve – but ultimately makes it fun and rewarding to use what you’ve learned to solve puzzles and fight enemies . Even if you play as Princess Zelda, this is a Zelda game through and through, and an adventure full of challenges and extras across Hyrule.
