After retrieving the Crystal Skull in Utah, Flynn Carson received a map in the mail marking the secret location of the King Lomon Mines. When the scroll is stolen, Judson explains the power of the keys to the Book of Solomon and assigns Flynn to retrieve the map. The map would be useless without the lore fragments to decipher it, located near the Roman ruins of Volubilis in Morocco. Flynn travels to the ruins of Casablanca, where he is chased by a group of mercenaries led by General Samir. They also wanted to find the location of King Solomon’s mines. Flynn teams up with Professor Emily Davenport to work on the excavation, and they escape General Samir and his men. En route to Gedi, where they rescue the local Jomo, the trio face a perilous journey through wild Africa.

Movie review:
- GenerationofSwine: “I don’t want my mom to know why I’m really here, so just play along, okay.” This is still The Librarians , though Flynn has become more confident and more Indian Jones between the movies , but it’s still our water monster that made the first movie so entertaining.
- The downside is that Anwar doesn’t come across as a tough partner. That’s not a bad thing, but it takes away from the formulaic feel and some of the fun of Noah having brains but no brawn.
- She’s a good match intellectually, though, which is also interesting
