It’s been a tough few years for fans of teen-centric TV, especially on streaming platforms.
Many shows were unceremoniously cancelled as media conglomerates received pickups and drop-offs after a series of endless shows.
The school spirit arrived in 2023 and immediately resonated with me and many other audiences thanks to its compelling hook.

Ghost stories have been common on small screens for years, but Paramount+ earned a huge amount of time on the show as it portrays a purgatory-style environment of a group of students who died at Split River High School.
Maddie Exchs is one of the best characters on TV, thanks to the excellent writing and outstanding performances of Peyton List.

Peyton’s poignant performance as the teenager tries to uncover the truth about her so-called death is fascinating.
When the School Spirit Season 1 finale revealed that McGrady didn’t die at school as originally expected, the series sent a stunning direction in an amazing direction.
School Spirit Season 2 is a near-perfect season
Instead, her body was inhabited by a teenage ghost named Janet, who ran around town and set up a rap watch.
This development puts the series on its head. It also greatly expands the myth of the School Spirit Season 2, which was just as large in the form of Simon that was captured by Janet and Mr. Martin recently.

We don’t know if he’s dead or something else completely allows him to enter the previously closed position, but that’s a conclusion.
Then, the fact is, Maddie takes back her body and returns to the place of life and learns that her ex-boyfriend Xavier can also see spirits in the hospital.
Few shows avoided the terrible sophomore, but the creatives carefully raised the ante to provide answers and started many new plots for season 3.
Thankfully, Paramount+ broke the news, which was officially in the process of the news due to a sharp increase in ratings in Season 2.

“We are delighted to bring the spirit of the school back to our devout audience, another superb storytelling season for Peyton List and the incredible cast to life,” Shauna Phelan, director of live action scripts and films, said in a statement Wednesday.
“United protesters Oliver GoldStick, Nate Trinrud and Megan Trinrud have excellent abilities to capture the complexity and nuances of the teenage experience while also keeping the audience on their toes with unexpected mysteries, and we can’t wait to see what’s in the store at the Split River High of Split River High of Split River High of Split River.”
Ghosts need to find peace
Given that the show is back, it’s hard to imagine it’s more than it did in the last season.
Most shows tend to exaggerate their welcome, but the school spirit has all the ingredients to offer a third and final chapter, which fills everything with circles.

Sometimes it is best to follow the story rather than the performance, and in the case of school spirit, the narrative needs to be concluded as soon as possible.
It would be fun to watch Maddie and Simon across from the fence in Season 3. If that wasn’t the last seasonal atmosphere, then I don’t know what it was.
Then there is a big question whether Wally seems to have gone after his life.
After years of death torture, he deserves peace, but the show will lose a lot without the charming Milo Manheim.
