Christopher Nolan recently praised Dune: Part 2 In conversation with the director Denis Villeneuve Describing it as “an amazing job of adapting”.
Nolan, who recently participated in a panel discussion with Villeneuve at the DGA, went on to say, “By having the second half bring the story to an incredible conclusion… what an amazing piece of work it is.”
Nolan added: “If for me, dune like Star WarsThen dune 2 yes empire strikes backthis is my favorite Star Wars Movie. I think this is just a huge expansion on everything that was introduced in the first one.
“What really blew me away was the feeling of being immersed in that world. There are so many unique images in this movie, so many things you’ve never seen in this movie before, and again and again, the details of it all blew me away. shock.
This isn’t the first time Nolan has compared Dune: Part 2 arrive empire strikes back. He previously said: “To me, I think if Dune: Part One was Star Warsthis is very important to me empire strikes backthis is my favorite Star Wars Movie. I just think it’s an incredibly exciting expansion on everything you covered in the first one.
“Dune: Part 2” was so good that Villeneuve plans to start filming the third installment in the series, an adaptation of Herbert’s ’69 novel “Dune Messiah,” in late 2025 or 2026.
