Upcoming titles Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan The Karate Kid movie has been revealed to The Karate Kid: Legendand there will also be a panel on the film at New York Comic Con that fans can attend.
American born Chinese actor Wang Ben Will play the role of the next Karate Kid in the movie. Mr. Wang is fluent in Mandarin and is proficient in multiple martial arts, including karate, wing chun/kung fu, kendo, boxing and taekwondo.
There are no details about the story yet, but Macchio will reprise his role as Daniel LaRusso and Jackie Chan will play Mr. Han, the kung fu master from Jaden Smith’s film. Worlds are colliding! The film will “mark the continuation of the original series’ mythology.”
The film will be produced by Jonathan Entwistle (The fucking end of the world) from the script written Rob Lieberproduced by Karen Rosenfeldt. The film is scheduled to be released on December 13, 2024 by Sony Pictures.
