It’s a great day for CBS viewers, as the network has renewed eight script series in 2025-26 years.

CBS today announced that it has updated nine additional series for the 2025-2026 broadcast season. The new CBS original series includes the first-place entertainment series tracker and the first marriage of the first comedy Georgie & Mandy.
But that’s not all!
Elsbeth, Fire Country, NCIS, NCIS: Origins and NCIS: Sydney will also return.
In addition, the network has been ordered two In the 2026-2027 season, more popular comedy ghost seasons bring the series to the series.
Previous series orders for the 2025-2026 season include the first series Matlock starring Kathy Bates and Sheriff Country, a new drama that expands on Morena The Universe of the Popular Series Fire Country starring Baccarin.
And, don’t forget yesterday’s announcement about the new police drama Working Blue, the blue blood character Danny Reagan starring Donnie Wahlberg.
The FBI’s original series was previously renewed during the 2026-2027 broadcast season. This brings the total number of series ordered in the 2025-2026 season to 16.

There will be other series orders and renewals in the future dates, but we are not surprised that two of the shows we care most about are not on the list.
