On Monday, visitors to the Ticketek homepage found a message: “The Ticketek website is currently undergoing maintenance. We’re sorry that updates are taking longer than expected.
The cause of the outage is unclear, but a memo circulating online that appears to have been issued by venues using Ticketek claims the company has voluntarily taken its network offline “to investigate some unusual online activity and as a precautionary measure.” As a measure, the Ticketek Australia New Zealand website and app are temporarily offline today.
