TikTok has formed a new long-term partnership with the International Rights Enterprise (ICE) to continue supporting songwriters and music creators around the world.
The deal, announced on Monday (November 18), will provide Tik Tok Continue to access ICE’s vast catalog of more than 54 million musical works from more than 330,000 rights holders.

The partnership comes as TikTok prepares to host its first “TikTok for songwriters” event held at its London offices on Tuesday (November 19). The invitation-only gathering will include industry executives, media representatives and songwriters, TikTok’s Ole Olbermann A panel discussion with two leading songwriters is planned.

ICE, a music technology company operating in the UK, Germany and Sweden, says it has processed “trillions” of music streams and distributed more than 4.5 billion euros Royalties since 2016 ($4.75 billion). PRS, STIMand echoas well as independent publishers such as peers, harmonyand Song Trust.
For TikTok, the deal with ICE comes as the video streaming giant terminates its overall agreement with Merlin. In recent weeks, TikTok has reached direct agreements with several independent artist service providers, including United Mastersthis is especially a Merlin members, and Ditto musicknown for its independent artist releases.
