Tom Holland is set to star in Christopher Nolan’s latest film, Secret Adventures alongside Matt Damon.
Nolan wrote the script and directed the project, which will be distributed by Universal Pictures. The studio has set a release date of July 17, 2026.
Plot details are being kept under wraps, but sources say the story isn’t set in the present (although it’s unclear if it’s in the past or future).
Nolan produces the Syncopy banner with producer and wife Emma Thomas.
The new film reunites Nolan with the studio that produced his drama Oppenheimer and helped him win his first Oscar. He won the Best Director award and received a Best Picture Producer statue for the film, which grossed a staggering $976 million worldwide.
Oppenheimer This is the filmmaker’s first time working with Universal Pictures, a relationship that followed Nolan’s public split from his hometown studio Warner Bros. in late 2020. Oppenheimer Sources revealed that the new project was picked up by Universal Pictures at a public auction and ended up going directly to the studio.
While Damon is part of Nolan’s cast, he’s already working with the film’s producers Oppenheimer and 2014 Interstellarwhich will be Holland’s first time working with the acclaimed director.
