Disney Channel has released a trailer for the upcoming animated series titled Stogothe story takes place on a summer camp island filled with giant creatures. This looks like a fun show for the kids!
Creator and Executive Producer, inspired by his childhood surrounded by the abundant wildlife and vibrant energy of South Florida Ryan Gillis (The wonderful world of Mickey Mouse) brings StuGo, “an original animated series about six middle school students who are tricked by a mad scientist into attending a fake academic summer camp.
“The first three months of school turned into the adventure of a lifetime on a tropical island filled with mind-reading manatees, giant fighting fungi and fashion-forward mutants.”
The main voice actors in the series include Tanya Gunardi as "Pliny" Zosia Mamet As “Merian”, Zachreno As a “wafer”, Gabourey Sidibe As “Francis,” Charlene Yi As “Larry,” Deborah Baker Jr. As “Sarah,” Lorraine Toussaint As “Dr. Allah” and Jack Green As “Mr. Okay.
In addition to Gillis, the show’s creative team includes Sunil Hall (gravity falls) as co-executive producer and Craig Lewis (Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends) as story editor.
Stogo The series will premiere on Disney Channel on Saturday, January 11 at 8:00 PM ET/PT with two episodes, followed by new episodes every Sunday at 9:00 AM ET/PT. The show will also be available on Disney+ in spring 2025.
