Netflix releases new trailer Tyler PerryNetflix’s Upcoming World War II Movies six hundred and thirty-eight. The film was inspired by the first and only regiment of women of color to serve overseas during World War II.
The film tells the fascinating story of 855 women who joined the war effort to clear a three-year backlog of undelivered mail. “Despite facing racism and sexism, as well as difficult working conditions, they remained committed to serving their country with honor and distinction.
“These unsung heroes shouldered an extraordinary mission and worked together to deliver hope and break down barriers.” They ultimately sorted more than 17 million pieces of mail in advance.
The film was written and directed by film star Perry Kerry Washington Plays Major Charity Adams, captain of the 6888th Central Postal Catalog Battalion.
The rest of the cast includes Ebony Obsidian, Milauna Jackson, Kelly Jefferson, Shanith Santay, Sarah Jeffrey, Pepi Sonuga, Moriah Brown, Jeante Godlockand Susan Sarandon, Dean Norrisand Sam Waterstonand Oprah Winfrey.
The movie “638” will be released on Netflix from December 20, 2024.
