There’s another scary-looking Popeye horror movie coming out called tremble my wood. This movie doesn’t look good in any way.
Thanks to the success of low-budget horror movies like Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey , we’re seeing more and more of these classic children’s stories getting the low-budget horror movie treatment, and they’re getting worse and worse.
The film has been described as “a raunchy, bloody horror film” Stephen Murphy will play the title role and will be directed by William Stead.
The plot synopsis reads: “Oliver Oyle, her brother Custer and friends go camping to see the meteor shower from Halley’s Comet. But as a meteor turns Popeye into an unstoppable murder machine Machine, the night becomes scary.
“The film draws on the thrilling horror films of the ’80s with comedic twists, combining elements of horror and comedy to present both genres in a whole new way. Shiver Me Timbers pays homage to classic horror films while delivering hilarious moments , shocking scares and nods to nostalgia that will delight horror and Popeye fans alike.
Here’s another synopsis of the story shared: In the summer of 1986 in Northern California, Olive Oyl embarked on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure with her movie-obsessed friend and brother Castor. On a camping trip, we witnessed the dazzling meteor shower that accompanies it.
“But when a meteor from a comet transforms Popeye into a terrifying and unstoppable killing machine, a peaceful night of stargazing quickly turns into a harrowing nightmare.”
This is one of two Popeye Horror movies are coming out. The title of the other one is Popeye the Killer Man. However, some horror fans enjoy watching these ridiculous micro-budget horror movies.
