GKids releases trailer for upcoming animated movie ghost cat anzupremiering at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.
The film tells the story of 11-year-old Karin, who is abandoned by her father at the home of her grandfather, a Buddhist monk in a rural Japanese town. Her grandfather asks his ghost cat Anzu, a cheerful and helpful, albeit rather willful, ghost cat to look after her. When these two strong characters meet, sparks fly, at least at first…
