    The entertainment world is mourning the death of Tito Jackson, a founding member of the iconic Jackson Five.

    Tito was an integral part of the Jackson family music dynasty. He formed the Jackson Five with his brothers Michael, Jermaine, Marlon and Jackie in the 1960s. Their debut single “I Want You Back” was an instant hit, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, as were subsequent hits “ABC” and “I’ll Be There.”

    They were later inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.

    In addition to working with The Jackson 5, Tito also pursued a solo career, releasing his debut album tito time In 2016, his single “Get It Baby” ranked No. 19 on the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay chart.

    After the news broke, Tito’s sons TJ, Taj and Taryll shared their grief on Instagram, confirming the devastating news with a heartfelt message:

    “It is with heavy hearts that we announce that our beloved father, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Tito Jackson, is no longer with us. We are shocked, saddened, and heartbroken. Our father was an incredible man who cared. Everyone and their well-being.

    “Some of you may know him as Tito Jackson of the legendary Jackson Five, some of you may know him as ‘Coach Tito,’ or some of you may know him as ‘Poppa T.’ Still, people will still He is greatly missed. This will always be “Tito time” for us. Please remember to do what our Father always preached, which is to “love one another.” We love you dad.

    They ended by saying, “Your boys, Taj, Taryll and TJ.”

    Former Jackson 5 drummer Jonathan ‘Sugarfoot’ Moffett also expressed his deep sadness on Facebook:

    “Tonight, my heart, spirit and soul are filled with great sadness…I am shocked and saddened to hear this depressing news. I love Tito like a blood brother…my My heart and spirit are with my nephew, 3T and all his grandchildren. I love you all so much. You are my second family.

    Moffitt went on to share his love and support for the Jackson family, including Tito’s mother, Katherine Jackson: “Dear mother, I love you deeply. I love you, Tito Jackson, my brother… Forever, ever.

    The Jackson family is no stranger to tragedy. Tito’s brother Michael Jackson died in 2009, and his father Joe Jackson died in 2018 at the age of 89.

    Just days before his death, Tito posted a message on social media in Munich, Germany, where he and his brothers visited Michael’s memorial. He wrote: “Before performing in Munich, my brothers Jackie, Marlon and I visited the beautiful memorial dedicated to our beloved brother Michael Jackson.

    “We are deeply grateful for this special place that commemorates not only him but our shared heritage. Thank you for keeping his spirit alive.

    As the world continues to absorb this loss, fans and peers in the music industry anticipate more tributes celebrating Tito’s life and legacy as a music icon and much-loved family man.
