Another monster movie from Universal Pictures has received an R-rating from the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA). Although there are rumors werewolf Rated PG-13, official rating R.
director Ray Warner“The Invisible Man” is also rated R. He previously assured fans that this latest “The Wolf Man” would mark a return to “true horror” and that we didn’t know yet that the film would be filled with “bloody violence.” Horrible images and some language.
Whannell previously said of the film: “[Wolf Man] I was like, ‘I just wanted to make something straight, pure horror.
In the film, Blake (Christopher Abbott), a San Francisco husband and father, “inherited his remote childhood home in rural Oregon after his own father disappeared and was presumed dead.”
“With his marriage to his powerful wife Charlotte (Julia Garner; Black Money Resort, Invent Anna), Blake convinces Charlotte to take a break from the city and visit the property with their young daughter, Ginger (matrida bay; Lift hull, stun).
“But as the family approached the farmhouse in the dead of night, they were attacked by an unseen animal and, in desperation, they barricaded themselves inside while the animal wandered around.
“However, as night falls and Blake begins to act strangely, transforming into something unrecognizable, Charlotte will be forced to decide whether the horrors inside their house are more deadly than the dangers outside.”
The film is scheduled to be released in January 2025.
