Here’s the first trailer for this unsettling, twisted horror thriller Jenny Peng’s Rulesthis movie revolves around the acting showdown between two powerful stars Jeffrey Rush and John Lithgow.
In the story, “A judge suffers a stroke and is sent to a mental hospital. There, he falls into the hands of a twisted patient who uses his doll Jenny Peng as a tool to impose his will on the poor inmates.” Their conflict will trigger a wave of violence and terror that will shake the place to its core.
Another description reads: “Trapped in a secluded nursing home in a stroke-ridden body, a former judge must stop an elderly psychopath who uses child puppets to abuse the nursing home residents, with fatal consequences .
Stephen King has previously praised the film saying: “One of the best movies I’ve seen this year. It’s called Jane Penn Rules and I highly recommend you watch it when it airs on Shudder.” Jeffrey Rush stars, with John Lithgow Like an elderly psychopath with an evil hand puppet.
Jenny Peng’s Rules is an adaptation Owen Marshall Short Story, Director: James Ashcroft from a script he wrote Eli Kent.
The film will premiere in New Zealand on March 20, 2025.
