URSA Mini 4.6K has arrived! Check out my first few test shots here!

I just picked up my new Blackmagic URSA Mini 4.6K yesterday and have spent a lot of time getting to know the camera and taking some test shots. I was immediately blown away by the image quality of this camera, and I really couldn’t get over the usable dynamic range it produced. I can’t wait to get this thing out on some real world projects, but for now I’ve gone ahead and compiled some test shots I shot this afternoon and posted them below.

All the footage you’ll see here was shot at 4.6K resolution in 4:1 compressed RAW format, edited and colored in DaVinci Resolve. After the main color correction was completed, I also used FilmConvert (grainless) to polish the final piece more.

    Let’s talk about it!

I’ll be sure to post more footage as soon as I get a chance to shoot with this camera in a more controlled setting or narrative project.

Please check back soon for ongoing updates!
