Why did Usher delete his entire X (formerly Twitter) feed? Well, apparently he didn’t – although the topic was a trending topic on the social media platform on Sunday (September 22).
“The account was hacked and you all ran away!” Usher wrote on X at 6:13 pm ET on Sunday, after comments and theories poured in about him deleting his history on X. “See you tonight at the Intuit Dome.”
Just before Usher released the update, advertising billboard A representative for the singer has been contacted for comment regarding his X account.
Usher mentioned the Intuit Dome in the update, where he will perform at the Los Angeles Arena for the second night in a row on Sunday. The “Usher: Past, Present, Future” tour will next head to Oakland, California, before heading to Texas, Florida and other cities.
On Sunday, some users on X posted questions about what seemed like a time for a social media cleanup given Usher’s professional relationship with music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. Arrested. Arthur has been working with him since they were kids; their history goes back to the singer’s 1994 debut album, for which Combs served as executive producer.
“For decades, Sean Combs … abused, threatened and coerced the women and others around him to satisfy his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his behavior,” advertising billboard. Coombs pleaded not guilty but was denied bail at his Sept. 17 arraignment. If convicted, Combs faces a minimum of 15 years in prison and a maximum of life in prison.
On Sunday, Usher was also trending along with pop star P!nk, whose X feed appeared to have been suddenly deleted. advertising billboard Representatives for P!nk were contacted but had not heard back as of press time. Her X post/tweet has not been restored at this time either.
