BLACKPINK’s JENNIE performs her hit solo single “Mantra” jimmy kimmel live show on October 15, following the recent release of the song.

The song is the singer’s first release since signing as a solo artist with Columbia Records in September with her label, ODDATELIER.

Music fans previously voted in a poll released on Friday (October 11). billboard, Choose the BLACKPINK singer’s new solo single as their favorite new music release of the week. Despite competing against multiple hot new songs, JENNIE’s song overwhelmingly won the vote, with an approval rating of over 81% as of the close of voting on Sunday.

Voters chose “Mantra” over new musical releases from Charli XCX, Halsey, Tyla, Jelly Roll, Becky G, GloRilla and Rod Wave.

JENNIE has had a seminal few years. In addition to releasing her long-awaited solo music, she’s also making her TV debut on HBO in 2023 Idol and was awarded the Order of the British Empire.

In March 2024, she teamed up with Brockhampton’s Matt Champion to release a new collaboration titled “Slow Motion.”

She announced in December that she was launching a new brand and company called OA. “Hi, this is Jenny. This year has been filled with so many accomplishments and I’m so grateful for all the love I’ve received,” the K-pop star wrote on her Instagram Story. “As I begin my personal journey in 2024 with the company I founded called OA, I am also thinking about the future. Please show me a lot of love for my new beginning with OA and of course BLACKPINK .Thanks.
