Of course, the song sounds nothing like a real Carpenter hit. “I don’t look or sound like her. She’s completely perfect,” Wakeline said, but added, “As far as this song is concerned, I am her.
“Taylor Swift sings about a crush on her best friend/Y’all shout ‘lesbian’ because she didn’t say ‘my boy best friend,'” she sings over the keyboard.

In the next poem, she points out that making out with her female costar from “Taste” will only lead to online chatter like, “I heard this song was about Shawn Mendes.”
“Help me/Tell me what I’m doing wrong/Why am I the only straight pop star/Listen to them?/It’s lonely/I do gay things and you don’t get mad/I just want the same treatment/ I want mystery/Why don’t you think I’m bi or pretend I might be/I’m not bi or pretend but why doesn’t anyone think I’m lying/I just want you to think I might have a secret, ” she sang.
Wakeline went on to remind everyone that Carpenter also kissed a female alien on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards in September while performing a medley of her hits.
“I also made out with an alien girl at the VMAs/Nothing!” she laments in the song.
