Hallmark Channel’s programs are known for their families, hearts and communities. This is one of the areas where the heart is good at.
Although there have been fluctuations in the past two seasons, Episode 12, Episode 11 of Calling the Heart is proven by Elizabeth’s importance to Hope Valley and how her friends are eager to help her and Jack Jr.
It was a very exciting time because everyone cared about little Jack and saving the child’s life was crucial.

While it is crucial to focus on Elizabeth’s point of view, I’m glad we’ve also seen how his illness affects others, including children.
Maintaining the accuracy of historical elements is crucial to this devastating storyline
Keeping a diabetes schedule in the 1920s was crucial for this storyline. The arc is convincing when Elizabeth questioned how she missed her symptoms.
As a person with diabetes, it is still easy to miss after 100 years and can be more difficult, especially in hungry or tired toddlers.
I know for myself that hunger and fatigue are the first signs of diabetes, but they are often overlooked in our busy lives.
The insulin test began in 1922 and I appreciate it when it was linked to the research articles found by Mei.

Since they don’t know much, it actually works with caution, but knowing that they may have to take a leap of faith and pray for miracles.
Insulin was so new at that time that it wasn’t used for young children yet, but it was their only chance. Taking insulin helps the pancreas process better, which allows people with diabetes to live their daily lives.
Elizabeth tried to convince the doctor that it was so burdensome to keep her little boy alive.
Hope Valley rally supports Elizabeth and assures her that she is not alone
“Be confident” emphasizes the best use of community and friendship.
Mike and Mei volunteered to travel to Toronto because she knew how to defend the case, and Rosemary helped Elizabeth draft a letter to the doctor.
This is how you should use rosemary more often – as a support friend. She hurriedly organized a food truck for Elizabeth, Nathan and Jack Jr. so they didn’t have to worry about cooking.

She needs to stay so she won’t break down. When Minnie encouraged her to speak, she understood and stuffed it straight in.
When Faith learns the hospital, the hospital refuses to send medication to one patient, but they start working for the clinics, Faith and Rosemary of ten patients.
It was heart-warming to see Molly, Minnie, Florence and each recruited patient, but when Elizabeth told the doctor she told him they had nine and that if they were a success story, they might get more.
She begged him to save her little boy.
Hopefully we’ll see how Faith and Mei started this clinic in the Heart Season 12 finale.
If the series renewal is newer, that might be an interesting arc for them as they save little Jack.

This crisis brings Elizabeth and Nathan’s family closer
Nathan and Elizabeth have been through several crises since they started dating when they called Season 11.
When they support each other, their work is usually their best because they have always had a strong foundation for friendship.
But they never had to deal with a life-threatening child before, and both of them felt completely helpless.
Nathan is used to protecting the people he loves and hates, but can’t solve the problem. In an emotional scene, Bill assured him that he only needs to come for his family.

Nathan and Elizabeth Reading go to Jack to listen to baseball games or wait with him in the infirmary to spend the moments they are together.
Nathan: I would rather not.
Elizabeth walks through the rope with all the horrible news, but finally gets a miracle.
The children’s introspection leads to Jack’s exciting experience
So many people question whether they can do something, especially the kids. Cooper and Toby felt responsible because Little Jack ran into the woods while playing baseball with them.
They wanted to make up for him, but weren’t sure how weak he was unable to play.
Despite his age, I’m glad they thought he was one of their friends and Cooper suggested playing a baseball game at Rosemary’s show.

It’s a really good idea, they attract all the kids involved, from Angela playing emotional music to Oliver and Allie yelling Cooper and Toby.
Cooper and Toby are great announcers. They try to explain the game, so Jack rarely feels like he is taking action.
While Elizabeth and Jack Jr. appreciate it, Ellie also felt introverted, wondering if she should notice something when she took care of him.
Oliver had to tell her that sometimes something terrible happens to good people and no one can stop it, but now they can help with the solution.
Unfortunately, he knows it very well. He turned out to be an optimistic, caring person, and Ellie thanked him more every day.
While they haven’t jumped from close friends to a couple, there’s a bit of a lingering look.

Lucas is excluded from most things again
It’s frustrating that Lucas is hardly involved in the storyline, and he was so close to Jack Jr. years ago.
We barely see Lucas unless he signs with Henry, Lee and Bill and comments that Jack is more important than his political reelection.
It was obvious that he still cared about the little boy, even if he would be embarrassed to sit with everyone else, and it would be nice to see him get some updates.
Until the last church service, we never saw Lucas again.

I hate that he has been evacuated by his friends, but he works hard to save and improve the community.
In you, the heart.
What do you like to “faith”? Do you think insulin will help Jack?
Do you like Hope Valley is anxious to help Elizabeth? Don’t you like Lucas being left out again?
