Few TV episodes appear, juggling in a juggling way, like Will Trent, “Frankenstein of Mariariachi Shelly does. The writer by Drama, comedy, action, romance and horror films pile up to 42 minutes, stacking some serious drawings in a way that not only effectively but also setting high-level titles, and the show can be hard to reach and surpass. Let’s review one time.

The episode continues to prove John Shelley’s innocent multiple murders with the mission of Detective Angie Polaski (Erika Christensen). The story of this week is a roller coaster of emotions, transitioning from a laughing comedy to a drama. Officials from the Atlanta Police Department (APD) and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) insult each other as they prepare for their birthday party. For example, GBI Chief Amanda Wagner (Sonja Sohn) and Agent Faith Mitchell (Iantha Richardson) joked that using GBI knife to cut cakes because APD (their knife) is not that sharp.

Captain Heller (Todd Allen Durkin), Michael Ormewood (Jake McLaughlin) when the storm plunged the jurisdiction into darkness) and Franklin (Kevin Daniels) combine body comedy with a series of Mexican tramp jokes while carrying an old generator. Jang this stupid person with the heartbreaking drama of Dr. Pete Chin (Kurt Yue) and Amanda to save Caroline (Christina Wren) life.
The action scenes of the adrenaline pump, Agent Trent (Ramon Rodriguez) and Angie Polaski effortlessly bring Finger Ada Freddy (Frederico Rodriguez) together. The Assistant District Attorney, initially rejected by girls in high school, was portrayed as a stereotypical weird child who developed the complexity and psychotic tendencies of God. The episode also includes tender romantic moments between Will and Gina Rodriguez. While I’ve never been a romantic for Angie and Will, I do feel bad for her once Freddy is curbed and will immediately run to comfort Marion. Anji was shot dead. Will Will save her life and then shut her out. Ouch. That hurts a lot.

This episode has some harsh horror scenes like dripping Angie’s blood from the elevator ceiling. She also experienced a jumping panic while searching for the killer in the dark, with her flashlight landing on the creepy police mannequin. For me, Freddy’s use of Night Goggles to navigate in the blackout was a nod to “The Lamb’s Silent” Buffalo Bill.
Thankfully, the only genre that has not appeared is science fiction. However, the title, “Maryach Shelley’s Frankenstein”, quotes the classic work of Mary Shelley, considered by many to be one of the first science fiction novels. Shelley’s Frankenstein focuses on topics such as ambition, creating and playing God’s consequences. Ada Freddy Markovic boasted that Marion killed people and made him feel like God. I think he looks around and finds the consequences. The author’s ability to weave these elements together without losing the plot is nothing more than a genius. Every genre can glow and the transition feels natural rather than stinging.

The actors perform excellent performances, performing their respective genres perfectly. I found two dramatic scenes particularly intense and moving. First, Dr. Pete shares his backstory explaining why he works with the dead. He told Amanda in tears that he was a surgeon but he cut the patient’s intestines. This is a 100% preventable death. Pete explained that doctors have comments, warning them not to bear the emotionally challenging, dead burden on their own “your own “never carry a coffin alone”. In order to save Caroline’s life, Pete is not alone. He got the support of Amanda, Faith, Captain Heller and even Mariarianchi, who joked: “Nick Bowel sounds like the name of a wrestler. The timing of this comedy moment perfectly complements the seriousness of the moment.
The interaction between Will and Raphael Wexford (Antwayn Hopper) is the second dramatic scene I noticed. Rafael joined him when Will investigates the murder of Mia Elkan (Teisha Speight). I like that Raphael is a little fragile and admits he is not a fan of high places, small spaces or darkness. In that moment, he admitted that he was taking over the Grove Park gang. Will then reveals to Raphael that he is watching him investigate the crime as a deterrent. Will intends to show Rafael and warn Rafael, “he doesn’t know or know”, effectively bringing Rafael to the future actions he will face if the gang is off the line and as a result of.

The director’s vision and skills are evident in every frame. The precise rhythm of this episode puts the audience in the transitions across the genres. My criticism is a criticism. I hate feeling like I need night goggles to pay attention to the visual details of the story. The second criticism involved the identity of the killer. Guess who is too obvious. Also, why did Freddy try to kill Caroline but let Amanda live? Is it because they work together? He thought he could hide in a building full of police? Fortunately, other aspects of the plot and dynamic execution of the story make it fun and entertaining. The ability of this episode to elicit a wide range of emotions in a short period of time makes it an essential event.
So, how do you think of this messy genre? What do you think is the future in Angie and Will because they joked that she “releases” him to Marion? Let me know in the comments.
