Although the first part of the arc is weak, this week’s will is one of the most powerful plots to date.
The audience is believed to be John’s brother-in-law framed him, just killing Caroline’s actual killer and threatening Marion.
Will Trent Season 3 Episode 7 feels like a twisted murder mystery, in a storm, everyone is trapped together and never knows the killer’s next move.
It’s as fascinating as Will and Angie, as it was in the old days. They may not date anymore, but they are still good companions.
The department also took advantage of Trent’s support cast when Amanda and Pete were eager to save Caroline. In this episode, we learn more about Pitt than in the past three seasons.
This is the right way to use your actors.
Will and Angie are excellent in their teamwork
It must be frustrating for Angie that no one believed her intuition and new evidence, but everyone agreed to once he assures her that she would conduct more investigations.
This situation allows them to put the lead in the lead.
In just a few weeks, Will and Angie once again cemented their partnership. They are not a couple, but they still know each other’s quirks and can be joked about.
I never thought we would see again after their emotional outburst for Will Trent Season 3 Episode 4, but now they are joking about Will’s dating life.
Anji: This is a problem. Have you ever considered dating someone who doesn’t work in a building?
Will: We work 80 hours a week. Where should I meet people?
Angie: Stop exchanging with your dog and download the dating app like everyone else.
It was probably the easiest moment of the show, with them finding Mia’s body on the elevator shaft.
The elevator scene is my favorite, and these two elevators encounter some interesting, awkward scenes there before becoming a violent crime scene.
Nothing has proved his innocence like a corpse since John was in prison.
The two men strive to prove John’s innocence and understand who continues to lurk and attack their friends.
It proves that Will and Angie can still work together and be friends. They have to adapt to the new normal.
All original signs lead to John’s brother-in-law Keenan
Initially, it looks like John’s brother-in-law Keenan committed the murder and framed him. He had a huge hatred of John and did not want his wife to date him.
This control behavior triggered many signals, especially because he did not want anyone to read these journals with old evidence.
Will was sure Keenan found him with a bloody knife with Caroline’s body. Since everyone loves Caroline, he almost lost it.
His denial will only anger Will and Angie, and the only one he clears him is Pete, suggesting the attacker left-handed.
John also firmly believed that Keenan knew Alice a few years ago and that they all took drugs a few years ago. He thought Keenan had hated him ever since, but John had another enemy.
Raphael learns that he can’t hide anything from Will
Will Trent is the best. He plays Rafael Wexford like a violin, pretending he needs help from his old friend in the case.
Will never let civilians, let alone former criminals, assist him, but he hopes Raphael squirts in tight spaces.
This led him to admit everything, including gold watches being part of the business deal, and he took over the leader of the Grove Parker boys.
I like what I already know, but he wants to hear Raphael admit it. It’s really good.
The greater threat to lurk in the GBI office
I hate that my suspicion is correct. Da Freddy Markovic seems too eager to leave John Shelley in jail, while Marion agrees to see the new evidence.
Freddy seems to feel relieved that Keenan Peters doesn’t know him. Since he interviewed Peters alone, we don’t know if he threatened them too, because Keenan looked scared later or he just hated being charged by the police.
Angie and Will simultaneously infer that Freddy committed all murders, but he has horrified multiple people in the GBI office.
Since his power has been exhausted, he can easily lurk and attack people. He revenges his power and knowledge as a district attorney.
Poor Marion was caught on the crosshair since she just heard that he was the main suspect.
Freddy: Everything changed when John was in jail.
Marion: Please don’t have Freddy.
Freddy: I feel power. Who wants to be noticed when you can do anything you want?
Freddy develops a complex of God after being ignored in high school and it’s heartbreaking to watch him attack all these women in Will’s life. Will wouldn’t let him get hurt anymore, save Angie, and then run to comfort Marion.
Marion may have PTSD since trusting Freddy. They are colleagues, so when he attacks her, it’s a real intuition. She fell into Will’s arms.
Initially, I had hoped that Angie and Will would be reunited, but Marion and would make a real connection that needs further exploration.
Pete
Pete has been in the backstage as the coroner. When Caroline was stabbed, he finally had a chance to shine, and the ambulance was delayed by the storm.
Amanda: Everyone stays calm and does your job. Yes, you’ll confess from that dirty bag, Pete, you’re going to save Caroline’s life.
Poor Pete. He was so nervous that Amanda kept everyone calm. Usually, Amanda is having a tough time, but this episode shows how much she cares about Caroline.
She had planned to have a surprise party for Caroline’s birthday, so Caroline’s injury that day seemed too bad.
He has been working in the morgue since Pete screwed up a simple appendectomy a few years ago. He couldn’t let go and thought it would be easier to work on the dead patient.
That’s why he panicked when he thought he finally sewed Caroline up, but she was still bleeding. Poor guy. He thought he would lose another patient, one that everyone admired.
Seeing that he hadn’t worked on a field patient for years to save her shows how much Pete will do for people.
Hopefully we will learn more about him.
