In the past, you didn’t need much to make medical dramas that people could connect with.
All you have to do is combine some interesting characters with weird illnesses and hopefully everything is fine.
Watson is not that easy.

The TV is long apart from Dr. Quinn (Medicine Woman), but even that show has its head set in the wild west.
Thankfully, CBS has been in the medical theatre business with City Hospital since the 1950s, one of the earliest medical procedures on TV.

Now that the network has added Watson to its prime time catalog, is the series enough to provide audiences with something fresh?
Well, despite many medical dramas about talented doctors, who prefer knowledge over emotion, none of them are the classic characters of Sherlock Holmes’ trusted right-hand man.
Watson, on the other hand, is swaying by bringing his beloved literary characters into the modern world. Right now, you know there will be a lot of people who are shocked by the idea, not very good.
Watson knows that without some eye candy, you can’t succeed
One of the right things in the series is to cast Maurice Chestnut as a nominal character. Don’t get bad, but that man is very good. He is a tall water and I was disturbed.
Apart from joking, the actor has been in the entertainment business for 40 years. I know because he started performing the same year I was born.

Believe it or not, this man is almost his sixties and looks like a smoky abs and a flawless face. Plus, everyone knows that you can’t have a successful medical procedure without some eye candy – I’m looking at you, well, grey anatomy.
Chestnut’s ridiculous appearance put aside the ridiculous appearance, this man is very talented, and that’s what his resume says. Morris has a laundry list of shows and movies from decades ago. So while not every audience will know his name, they may recognize his amazing characteristics.
His attitude towards Dr. John Watson is nothing more than a genius character, who has been around for nearly a century and a half. Nevertheless, as far as I can tell, the iteration of the characters does not have the Chestnut version of the muffled ones.
What I gathered from Watson’s Season 1 Episode 1 is that Morris is the right person to work. But the show is only as good as the sum of its parts, and Watson is working with many new faces.
Support roles require some work, but there is a lot of potential there

Another thing the series does is meta-information of the supporting role cast. Among the pilots, Eve Harlow’s Ingrid established Watson hiring all the doctors below him as experiments–we’ll do it in one minute.
All new doctors have unique personalities, and I’m not talking about being a bacteria or having obsessive-compulsive tendencies.
While the thing about Ingrid is that she lied for her ambition, we can hardly call it a gi head because who wouldn’t lie on the resume to promote their careers?
Then there is Inga Schlingmann’s (Please help me Todd) Sasha Lubbock, the thickest accent he’s ever heard of – I live in the South.
I’ve never heard the actress speak outside of Watson’s role, so I don’t want to offend anyone by shouting the yell, but she might as well wear a Dara denim jersey in every episode.
Finally, this is probably just me, the weirdest addition to the doctors roster is Peter Mark Kendall’s (Chicago Medicine) twin characters, Stephens and Adam Croft .

I don’t even know what to say to these two, because it seems that the writers are working hard to differentiate between characters. Put glasses on one twin and another leather jacket is not very suitable for twins on the other twins.
Although the premise is creative and the sub-pictures seem interesting, the way these doctors develop will determine Watson’s endurance. Fortunately, there is also a character that can make or break the series.
Everyone loves a funny little guy, they can like to hate it, but Watson may be too likable
If you haven’t seen the Watson Pilot, turn around now, because I’m going to drive the vandals away. Again, you might enjoy the twists and turns like this TV fanatic before watching something.

I can’t be the only one who reads the entire plot of the movie just to see if they like to waste the ending two hours ago, right?
Anyway, it’s a big turn at the end of Watson’s pilot: Randall Park (fresh on board) plays Professor James Moriarty, the biggest enemy of Sherlock Holmes . Now, this is what you call “swing”.
Actually, I’ve heard about two ways of casting this way. Some like the refreshing view of the characters from actors known for their comedy roles, while others aren’t quite on board.
I’m going to go sugarcoat, but basically, many viewers think it’s a danger and crime against the late Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and the Watson writer should be hanging in shame. Again, this is the icing I’m commenting on.
Personally, I want to see what Park can do with characters. The actor has a lot of charm and charm, which is why most people like him when they appear in movies or series.
Honestly, if Randall Park doesn’t believe he has Moriarty’s justice, I doubt Randall Park will play this dangerous role.

Since I’ve only seen the pilot, I can only guess his approach, but I guess that’s the kind he said some sinister, but then followed it with a big smile and a clownish style.
Still, Parker’s casting is probably the biggest risk posed by CBS’s Watson, as it has a polarizing impact on viewers – about ten million of them to be exact.
Also, remember Watson’s little experiment? If you don’t, the nominal character hires the doctor he does, because they all have traits similar to a mysterious individual. I want to know who that is.
One thing to remember is that many shows make small but fundamental changes after the pilot airs, as episode one and two usually have a lot of time between their respective shots.

As far as we know, Watson may bring back more “funny” characters when the series returns to episode two.
I was going to ask what kind of show would require a few weeks off after its premiere, but then I remembered Matlock.
After watching the pilot, what do you think of Watson?
Which support character do you think maintains the maximum potential of the show?
