Although there are many rumors around spider man 4we now know for sure that it will “deal with the fact that he decided to give up on being Peter Parker, and that he’s going to focus on being Spider-Man because being Peter Parker is too hard.”
As for the characters involved, we know Tom Holland Will return as Peter Parker, Shandaya will return as MJ, and Jacob Bartel Will return as Ned. Beyond that, we don’t know who else will show up, or who the bad guys will be.
However, the Green Devil actor Willem Dafoe revealed a possible return in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. When asked about returning, the actor replied:
“We’ll see. We’ll see. I can come back. It’s been a joy working with Tom and the whole series of Spider-Man movies I’ve been doing has been so much fun.
While this is far from confirmation that Dafoe’s Green Goblin will be back, if he did come back, I doubt fans would have a problem with it! Dafoe’s Green Goblin is welcome back to the Spider-Man movies any time!
Holland recently revealed that he and Shandaya After reading a draft of the script, he expressed excitement about the direction the film’s story would take.
Holland said: “We had an idea, a proposal and a draft, and it was great. It needed work, but the writers did a great job. I read the book three weeks ago and it really lit a fire in me.
“Zendaya and I sat down and read the book together, and sometimes we were jumping around the living room like this was a real movie that deserved the respect of fans.”
He added: “The idea is crazy. It’s a little different than anything we’ve done before, but I think fans will really respond to it.”
The film is set in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. Will be released on July 26, 2026.
