XG’s Asia Expo took the top spot in this week’s new music poll, which spotlights releases across a variety of genres.
Music fans vote in a poll released on Friday (November 8) advertising billboardnamed the Japanese group’s second mini-album their favorite new album of the week.
Asia Expo Received an impressive 85% of the vote, topping other notable new releases like Karol G’s star-studded collaboration “+57,” Charlie Puth’s “December 25th,” Zach Bryan’s “High Road” and “This World’s a Giant,” Griff’s “Last Night’s Mascara,” and more.
Asia ExpoAs the name suggests, it is “designed to evoke this sense of awe,” according to a press release. The entire show was only 23 minutes long, but it was packed with many infectious pop moments and cleverly blended with the members’ individual personalities.
In this week’s poll, Karol G’s “+57” came in second, receiving nearly 10% of the vote. The superstar collaborates with Feid, DFZM, Ovy on the Drums, J Balvin, Maluma, Blessd and Ryan Castro (aka “The Colombian Gang”) on the track, which is named after the Colombian area code.
“+57” is a tribute to Colombian music, bringing together an all-star cast to celebrate the country’s music over nearly five minutes of mesmerizing, hypnotic beats.
While Karol G has collaborated with Feid, Maluma and Ryan Castro before, this marks the first time that so many Colombian stars have teamed up for a song.
