We’re less than two months away from the epic return of Yellowstone for the second part of its fifth season.
So far, we’ve been teased and teased with the upcoming action sequences, but a recently released behind-the-scenes clip gives us some insight into why.
The story has been kept under wraps for two years, and the drama surrounding the cast and production is a story in itself.
There’s no doubt that one day we’ll see a fictionalized account of what happened, maybe even a major movie.
That’s how much drama there is between the two halves of Yellowstone season five.
This new Yellowstone feature reflects the closeness of the cast.
It also shares their love for their characters and the people they have worked closely with for seven years.
One of the biggest takeaways from the feature is the secrecy surrounding the set.

Each actor had a script that contained only his or her own words, with other parts edited.
Can you imagine?
I couldn’t wrap my head around the time it took to learn my lines, let alone without the verbal cues you normally use to get started.
However, this top-secret production method will allow actors to react instantly to their scene partners, adding an air of authenticity to the show.
The Yellowstone season five featurette doesn’t offer anything overt.
But it does show us the emotional toll this story takes on the characters we love.
If anything, watching this featurette makes waiting for what’s to come all the more painful.
But it also ignites a fire within us that will reach a boiling point on November 10th.
John Dutton shed so many tears he might have died. At one point in the trailer, Beth, Keith, and Jamie are all in tears, with Rip right next to them.
