Warner Music Group has appointed Youssef Chellak as general manager of its Belgian operations to expand its presence in the Belgian music market.

His responsibilities will include expanding Warner Music Belgium’s local artist roster and cultivating innovative business partnerships, while developing what the company calls “the most culturally curious team” in the Belgian music industry.
Chellak brings more than 20 years of music industry expertise to the position. He started his career in 2000 as producer, executive producer and publisher, working with artists in Belgium, France and Germany.
Most recently, he served as Director of A&R universal music belgiumwho played a key role in nurturing artists such as Aaron Blommaert, Bale, and Maxim Stoyanak Also contribute to the strategic direction of the company as a member of the management team.

Prior to Universal Pictures, Cherak served as general manager of: First class Belgiumis an independent hip-hop label established since 2018. Fat, Nitrogen, Travel LeMC, and Pregnant guy.

The appointment comes as WMG Benelux continues its expansion.
