Zayn Malik is honoring his late friend Liam Payne.
The 31-year-old singer dedicated his song “It’s You” to Payne during his Ladder to the Sky Tour concert in Payne’s hometown of Wolverhampton, England on Friday (November 29). Former member of One Direction. Zayn also took the time to share some heartfelt words about Liam, who sadly passed away on October 16 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
“So, I do something at the end of the show every night dedicated to my brother Liam Payne. RIP. I hope you get to see this tonight in your hometown, Wolverhampton , this is for you Liam,” Malik said in a fan-filmed video shared on X (formerly Twitter).
The “Pillowtalk” singer previously paid tribute to Payne at the opening of her “Ladder to the Sky” tour on Nov. 23 at the O2 Academy Leeds in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. “Liam Payne 1993-2024 Love You bro” with a red heart on screen and his 2024 song “Stardust” playing in the background.
Malik attended Payne’s funeral just days before the tour began, joining his former 1D bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan in paying tribute to the late singer .
Ahead of his UK concert, Malik postponed the start of his first official solo tour after news of Payne’s death broke.

Shortly after hearing the tragic news, Zayn also paid tribute to Liam in a touching Instagram post.
“I can’t help but selfishly think that there are so many more conversations we could have in our lives,” Malik wrote alongside a photo of himself lying on Penn’s lap as the two teens took a nap. “I have never thanked you enough for supporting me during the most difficult moments of my life. When I was homesick at 17, you were always there with your positive attitude and reassuring smile, letting me know you were My friends, I am loved.
