After Dhurandhar,Ranveer Singh has been everyone’s favourite actor. It is now almost expected that his next film is going to reap the same amount of praise as Aditya Dhar’s film had sown. His next project, after leaving Don 3,is Jai Mehta’s Pralay.
Pralay to Reportedly Hire 28 Days Later Prosthetics Team
As per Mid-Day,the prosthetics team for 28 Days Lateris being approached to work on Pralay. Lisa Crawley, Adrian Getley, Barrie Gower and Kate Hill were all approached for the upcoming Ranveer Singh film. They were all part of the primary prosthetics team of the Danny Boyle film.
“Pralayis envisioned as a large-scale survival horror film with extensive practical effects. The makers want those infected by the zombies on screen to look terrifying and convincing. They have been considering some of the best prosthetic talents globally, and the 28 Days Later team naturally came up in discussions.”
Although the film is reportedly being set in Mumbai, the shooting schedule is eyeing Australia as its primary location. As per theion of the city for the fictional setting
“Jai has planned an extensive first schedule in Australia, where the team will film a substantial portion of the movie’s post-apocalyptic world. Although the story unfolds in a zombie-ravaged Mumbai, Australia has been chosen for its diverse landscapes.”
It still hasn’t been confirmed whether the 2002 film’s team is on board or not. However, talks are taking place and time will tell just how strong the film’s game really is. If the team were to join, then that would be just another reason for fans to anticipate the film’s release.
It was reported recently that the shoot for the movie will begin in August and the actor is eyeing a paternity break around Diwali to prepare for his second child with Deepika Padukone and spend time with his growing family.
