The partnership continues The Hollywood Times’ commitment to supporting independent filmmakers, emerging voices and the festivals that provide them with an important platform to share their work with audiences
The Sherman Oaks Film Festival celebrates independent storytelling across a wide range of genres and formats, including narrative features, featurettes, short films, documentaries, comedy, drama, horror, science fiction, animation, action and thriller projects, experimental films, dance films and music videos.
The festival’s final submission deadline is August 15, 2026, with filmmakers expected to receive official selection notifications by October 15. The complete 2026 screening lineup and schedule will be announced following the selection process.
As an official media partner, The Hollywood Times looks forward to providing advance festival coverage along with film reviews, filmmaker interviews, festival highlights and additional coverage of selected projects leading up to and during the December event.
